Aphthous Ulcers (Canker Sores)

Avoid toothpaste containing the chemical Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS). Certain brands such as Rembrandt or Sensodyne carry line of toothpaste without SLS
Trial of food elimination, including gluten (wheat, barley, rye), citrus fruits (orange, tomato, etc.), chocolate and nuts
Rinse mouth four times per day with a mixture containing two parts water with either one part hydrogen peroxide or liquid Benadryl. After swishing it around the mouth for several minutes, spit it out
Aphthasol oral paste (prescription). Apply to each ulcer four times per day until healed
